Who is Prudence's new sister?????

It is sweet and beautiful:

Ashley
(on Reece's Rainbow)

This is my daughter, Abby, and myself with "Ashley" in November 2014.  She came up to us and asked us to take her too.  I asked the orphanage to make her a file and I would find her a family.  They did their part and I spent over a year advocating for her.  I had only one family inquire about her and they chose another child.  I couldn't leave her there, so we are going to be her forever family and we are all so excited!!
We believe she will make the perfect big sister for "Prudence."

We would like to thank everyone that donated towards our matching grant.  We are currently waiting for our GZ number to be sent to China.  We only have 3 steps left before we travel.  We are praying for a travel date of Sept. 16.

Thank you everyone for your prayers, for sharing our fundraiser and for your donations.

Blessings,

Suzanne

Wow the past two weeks have had many ups and downs.  We will start with the positive:

8-05-16  We were Dossier to China!!!!!!!
8-08-16  We sent our I800 to the lock box.
8-09-16  According to CCCWA, we are "logged
               in"!!!!!!!!!
8-10-16  According to CCCWA, we are "in
              review"!!!!!!!!
8-12-16  According to CCCWA, we are
              "matched"!!!!!!!!!

Adoption negatives:

8-16-16  We are still "matched" according to
CCCWA and our I800 paperwork can't
be found at the lock box.  Not good news

Praying it is found soon and that our LSC is issued tomorrow, or actually tonight, for us.  Our girl ages out in 45 days!!!!!

On the home front, my father passed away on Friday, August 5th and we laid him to rest on Saturday, August 13th.  It has been a very long week, many tears, lots of love and hugs.  We made it through and will miss him everyday.  My Dad was a wonderful man and he spent 28 years in the Air Force.   He was an extremely caring man and would have loved the two princesses we are bringing home.  I know I will see him again and look forward to that meeting.  I love you daddy!

I love these two pictures so much!!!!  Clara would run into Ma and Pa's house and go right over to him, climb up on the bed and hold his hand.  If someone was on the bed, she would tell them to get down!  I know it is going to be hard for her when I take her over there the first time it is just my mom in the house.  :(

We have had another $100.00 donated towards our matching grant and they have graciously extended the deadline until August 24th, because of our families' loss.  Below is the up to date photo!!  We are currently $7,500.00 from being fully funded!!  Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far!!  To meet our grant, our FSP needs to read $940.00.

Here is the updated picture.  I'm so excited to share whom our new daughter will be!!!!

I want to apologize to all those that donated over the past two weeks.  I was very overwhelmed with the loss of my Father and just couldn't find the strength or desire to do anything adoption related.  I'm so happy that everything accomplished really didn't require any work on my part.  I had already done the work and left the rest in the capable hands of our social worker, Ashley, at WACAP.

We had such a busy week last week and made good progress towards being dossier to China.  We managed to get 4 sets of fingerprints done, we all walked in early, two on Monday and two on Wednesday.  The USCIS approved us as an expedited case.  China gave us pre-approval for our second daughter.  Then on Friday, the USCIS emailed us our approved I800a, I took it to be notarized, state certified and sent it to There's Alway's Hope, in Chicago.

We were also offered and anonymous matching $1000.00 grant.  So, with suggestions from fellow Reece's Rainbow members we started a fundraiser and revealing game.  For every $20.00 donated we will reveal one more piece of the puzzle.  All I will tell you is this princess is aging out in less than 65 days, she has down syndrome and she is on Reece's Rainbow.  Our FSP is at 63.00.  If you can share, pray or donate, we would be so thankful.  We have to be in China in less than 2 months.  Please help us in anyway you can.

This matching grant will help us get a little closer to being fully funded.  We thank everyone for all that they do to help us get to our girls.

Blessings,

The Fristoes
