FINGERPRINTS ARE DONE!!!!!

Today has just been a wonderful day!!!

Last Tuesday we got our fingerprint appointment in the mail and today we walked in and waited and hour and 15 minutes and we were done!!  Then we went to the court house and got our certified marriage license, that I thought I had done. Oops.  Then to the health department for another copy of Dewey's birth certificate.  We managed to get it all done in 4 hours and 1 hour and twenty minutes was driving (we also went to lunch).  God blessed us today.

The morning started with an email containing pictures of Clare getting her package!!!  She is just so beautiful.  Check it out:   http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Flittleflowerprojects.blogspot.com%2F2011%2F08%2Fmei-meis-package.html&h=oAQARvRFcAQBgdYWQKiu5QiO57jegiwMoZgwg189mu1hhzw

Here is a preview:

Please continue to pray, spread the word about our fundraiser and donate, if you can.  We are going to need about $3000.00 very soon, to pay for the preparation of our dossier and to send our it to China.

GOD has been so good to us!!

BACK IN THE ER!!

Sunday I was back in the ER, but this time not with Hannah or any of my other children.  This time I was there with my momma.  She called me about 7:15 am complaining that she had an headache, elevated blood pressure and her heart was racing so fast she couldn't count it.  I took her to the ER and they did a EKG, figured out she was in Atrial fib. and started a cardizem drip.  The medication helped her heart rate come down, but not convert to a normal sinus rhythm.  She was in A-Fib when we were finally sent home on two new meds. and an appointment to see her new cardiologist.  She was so excited when she left the ER, because she really disliked her cardiologist!!  She kept saying she was going to go somewhere else, but never did.  Now I know she won't, because she just loves this new doctor.  Thank you for all the prayers that were sent her way!!

I took her to the cardiologist today and they changed her meds some more and said that as long as she was asymptomatic in A-fib. they wouldn't cardionvert her.  So, she is back home, happy and feeling good.

This is my dad and mom at my nieces wedding in June of this year.  I have to brag, that I have the greatest parents in the world!!!!!!!

I got home in time to go to my granddaughter's 4th birthday party.  We had a really good time and Tayler seemed to like all her gifts.

I am going to update the giveaway and get all the items in order and in one place.  I still need the names of people whom donated to our FSP and the number of chances they earned.

School started yesterday!!!

Yesterday was a very busy day for us.  Aaron started preschool and was so excited.  Daniel started HIGH SCHOOL!!!  I can't believe he is old enough to be a freshman.  Where did the time go???  Abby started the 8th grade.  I remember a time when I thought she was my baby and then our little "bonus", Aaron, came along to bring craziness back into our lives.  Then on the he was born, my husband made the comment, "that was easy, we should have another."  Now, he will swear that he said that and blames my OB and me with coming up with the idea of another.  But, we really did discuss it.  Eighteen short months later, along came Hannah.  Her birth was not as easy and introduced us to a whole new world.  A world we now embrace and love.  Soon Clare will join us and the chaos will start again.

Aaron has done nothing but ask when the bus was coming to get him, since we bought his school supplies.  Yesterday I could barely get him from behind me, so he could get on the bus.  Today was better, but now he is off until Monday.

These are his morning drivers.

These are his afternoon drivers

Aaron is happy to see his big sister, Abby!!

Daniel is doing Literature and getting mad at me for taking pictures!!  All I can say is he should be use to it, he is almost 15!!

Moving along

Found out we are missing one piece of paper from our Dossier.  I will work on that today and get it sent in ASAP

Aaron had a good day at speech therapy, even though he was tired of setting by the time we got there.  He was such a good boy while I was meeting with the MetLife people about building a Special Needs Trust for my babies.  If you haven't set one up yet, get in contact with them.  They have a whole department that specialize in Special Needs Planning and best of all, they do it for free!!  We went to meet the teacher night.  He is so excited to go and can't wait for the school bus to come and get him.

Today we should should hear rather or not Aaron will be getting his tubes or not.  They told me one more infection and he got it, so he better get his tubes.  It is so awful when they hurt and there is nothing you can do for them.

I have to say Thank you for the $50.00 worth of donations we received yesterday!!!!!  Please pray, spread the word, or donate anything will be helpful.  Thank You.

God Bless each and everyone of you.

IPad II, fundraiser to bring Clare home!!!!

Many people may be reading this for the very first time, so I would like to tell everyone the story of our Clare.

2-28-07

Clare was found abandoned, as an infant and was placed in an orphanage.  Shortly after placement she was transferred to Little Flower for hospice care. (Little Flower is a healing home that takes in fragile infants.  You can learn more about them by visiting:  http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/Little-Flower-Projects/230680524654).  Clare was sent there to be loved by these wonderful people until she died.  But instead of dieing Clare started to improve.  Fast forward:  She is now 4 years old and has been lucky enough to be able to stay at the baby healing home.  She is doing so much more than anyone expected  her to do.  She has many health problems and has fought for her little life several times.  She does not see doctors in China because she is on what is called "palliative" care.  She is strictly nursed by the staff of Little Flower.  Clare has several congenital heart defects (that we know of):  venticular septal defect (intract flow), pulmonary hypertension (mild to moderate), tricuspid valve cusp cleft (partial ECD), tricuspid valve backflow (moderate), and a patent foramen ovale.  She also has a cleft lip and cleft palate.  Receives all her nutrition through a g-tube.  Her diet consist of only pediasure.  Clare is also blessed with Down syndrome.  She is not considered a "candidate for surgery" in her country.  We know here in America she will receive the medical care and the therapies she needs to greatly improve her life!

8-14-11

We have requested that our paperwork be expedited so we can get Clare home as soon as possible and start caring for her medical needs.  We are still awaiting word from immigrations as to if they will honor our request.  We do know that China is willing to expedite the process on their end.  So, we don't want funding to be the reason we are unable to rescue our daughter.

We are approximately $17,000.00 short of being fully funded.  We are continuing to hold garage and bake sales to help raise money.  We truly believe God is calling us to His angel.  He has already blessed us on our journey.  When we were in our greatest need, He has provided us with the funds we needed to get to the next step.  We don't want to just sit and do nothing, so we have to decided to step out of our comfort zone and ask for help.

This fundraiser will run from Sunday, August 14 to Saturday, October 8th at midnight.  Winners will be chosen by: random.org and announced on Tuesday, October 11th, 2011.
With every donation:   $10 gets you 1 chance and 1 freebie option.

YAY!!!!!!!!

OH my, so much has happened since Hannah got out of the hospital (July 30).  Thank you for all the prayers.  Everyone is well here now and no one else ending up in the hospital or at the doctors office.  God has been soooo good to us.  Hannah got out of the hospital after 5 long days.  She was able to go home without any 02, just an antibiotic.

This was day 3.  She was starting to eat some, but mostly just sucked the ketchup off of the fries.

This was at discharge, before she realized I was leaving with a load of stuff that I had to take to the car.  She started crying when she figured out what I was doing.  Broke my heart!!  I love you Hannah.

When I took her for a check up, they decided to give us a nebulizer.  Boy have these things changed since Daniel got his.  The nurse was excited and said, "I am going to give her Sami."   I am sitting here thinking the office help has lost their minds and naming nebulizers???

Well, this is what she brought us:
Sami the Seal

The first time she used it, she patted his nose the whole time.
They have come a long way!!!  Daniel's was twice the size of the seal and just an ugly box.

On Friday, Aug. 5th, I took my very excited 3 year old, Aaron, school shopping.  He just can't wait to start.  It was fun, he was so excited to pick out this "school stuff".  Love you bitty boy.

We were given a wonderful gift of $2500.00 to finish paying for our home study!!!!  So, on Saturday (Aug. 6), it arrived in the mail.  Such a beautiful piece of the puzzle!!!

Monday, I sent the remainder of our dossier and all the I-800A info to Lifeline in an overnight package!!!!  They assured me they would look the I-800A over and send it out the same day.  I also sent my beautiful Clare a care package today.  Hopefully in a couple of weeks we will see some pictures of her in her gifts!!

Gifts for Clare and a few for Little Flower.

I love this picture of Clare.

Our beautiful Clare!!!

Tuesday, August 10th, got word from Lifeline that everything with our I-800A was good and that it was now on it's way to immigration!!!!   I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of me.  Tomorrow I will make sure they have everything they need from me to send in our dossier.

Let's pray they grant us our expediting request and we get our finger print appt. and I-800A approval quickly!!
